Missing You

Kiyaratu

We were once an insaperable pair
but u left me without a word
I had so much love for you
yet u leave me to ponder if
u did have the same love for me
What we shared was genuine

Sometimes I see you standing
right in front of me, telling
me it will be well one day,
telling me we will meet again

Oh how I wish you were here when
I need you. You have always given
me your shoulder to cry on when I was
down.

I sincerly do hope we meet again
For I am missing every bit of you.

Queen, your poem is very nice, although short but very compact and captivating. I’ll love if you can dedicate one to me.

I lived with my family in South Africa for 3 years and made many many friends, most i only knew by first name, in 1998 we were deported by some administration fault, i left many friends behind that didn’t even know i was deported back to belgium, my two very best friends had just moved to East london, the other to a farm in krugersdorp, i have been searching for them on the internet ever since, South Africa is large and i only have first names and a vague sirname of one of them, i can relate to you’r poem except it’s me who left without a word, peace sister.
