Thank you for the post! UT, do not isolate yourself–you are not alone in in how you feel. There are many who have seen what you have seen and daily overcome. That is what it takes, daily affirmation and reaffirmation that you were created with purpose, fearfully and wonderfully made! At times, it’s hard to swallow, other times it is easier. But with YHWH as my witness, you do get victory…everyday you are alive.

I only add a word of caution to what MAT wrote –”No, the abuse was not to make us feel worse UT, but to CAUSE us to be more sensitive, caring, and lovable to those around us.” The word “cause” in the statement (whether implied or not) means that without the inciting incident (in this case abuse) the victim/survivor would not be more sensitive caring and lovable. When counseling, diagnosing, or treating survivors of abuse, such language can lead to negative effects.

Satan would want you to isolate yourself and never tell your family or someone you trust–he will feed you thoughts about how your family would be ruined, how no one will ever love you, how you’ve made it this far–what’s your problem? These are lies– But, speak!…give voice to your experience! You and the world will be blessed by it!

This blog means heaps to me. Me and some friends are writing a book of abuse to children and to show people how wrong it is to stop the new geerration of living life as a child. They see things in ways no one should see things and never are able to live as a child.

IS THIS NOT SOME KIND OF NEW AWAKENING THAT WILL USHER A CULTURAL REVOLUTION AND A CHANGE OF ATTITUDE? TO ME, THE MERE THOUGHT OF TALKING ABOUT THE GIRL CHILD AND THE SOCIOCULTURAL MENACE SURROUNDING HER IS A VICTORY IN ITSELF. THIS IS BECAUSE WE AT LEAST NOW RECOGNISE HER AS A FULL HUMAN ENTITY AS OPPOSED TO YEARS GONE, WHEN EVERYTHING WAS CHRONICALLY PATRIARCHAL AND SEXIST. AND WHEN MEN LOOK AT THE GIRL AS JUST A WOMAN IN TRANSITION AND THEREFORE A PENDING MACHINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BABIES.
I AM BY THIS, MOTIVATED TO DELVE INTO THE CULTURAL DYNAMICS SURROUNDING THE GIRL CHILD AND THE MANIAC INCENTIVE DERIVED BY ABUSERS.

First, the only comfort for all of us in thru God by Jesus. Second, my prayers to those on this site, and those worldwide who has suffered from abuse. Its not just Nigeria, and our focus should not be on punishment or killing the offender, but healing the offended. As mentioned, far more abuse goes unreported, even sites that wallow in this and other abominable actions.
Abused pple are people! We are stronger than unabused because we survived a great trauma, now we need to care for our bodies, minds, and souls even more, else we abuse it over that of the offender, which is a worse offense.
In the birth-line of Yeshua, Elohim used many offensive relationships in bringing our salvation, what’s to be gleaned from such is Romans 8:28, ALL THINGS works for GOOD…even our abuse, HOW? By creating Beings that are extra sensitive to the needs, feelings, and situations of others, and to maintaining ourselves. No, the abuse was not to make us feel worse UT, but to cause us to be more sensitive, caring, and lovable to those around us. How? By knowing our experiences, and realize that this world is full of hurting folks, ’cause hurt pple HURT people! We know hurting is not the way.
Show yourself some LOVE! Once we focus on Love, we begin to heal the World, a healed world won’t hurt each other! Spend funds on healing centers, not cushy prisons as modern american slavery!
